Introducing the Advanced Sourcing, Inc. AST Timer Modules. This family of timer modules are designed to provide you with accurate, processor controlled, state-of-the-art timing functions. Depending on the module, these functions can include very simple timing functions to fairly complex timing functions including a variable period Trip Delay (On Delay) variable Active Period (Period) and variable period Off Delay (Off Delay) as well as pulse-shaping flasher mode or 50/50 duty cycle flasher mode. It is your choice and easy to configure.
The AST timer modules are designed to be fully blocking when in delay or active mode. This means additional triggers received at during these event periods will not re-trigger the timer. Once all events have completed, the timer will again be ready to receive a trigger input.
The delay periods can vary from a one-half second to 1 hour depending on switch and variable control settings. This can be customer tailored to your needs.
This gives you complete control over all the timer event periods based on the model of timer you have.
The AST-3 Timer provides full control of Trigger Delay, Active Period and Post Delay, each with individual time periods from seconds to an hour. This timer can be very flexible for creating relay closure times based on your timing needs, with complete pulse-shaping control.
The AST-2 Timer provides two-state relay timer action with control over the Active and Off-Delay Periods. Trigger Delay is not used with this timer, providing timer control for the Active Period and Off-Delay for blocking new triggers for a period of time after the Active Period.
The AST-1 Timer provides simple timer action with control over the active period only. Trigger Delay and Off-Delay are not used with this timer, providing a simple timer for applications requiring a simple timed Active relay contact period.
